‘Renewable Energy Base Oostende’ (REBO nv), situated in the port of Oostende, builds infrastructure and develops services for the construction and operations & maintenance of the wind farms in the North sea. It is the perfect terminal for: handling, lifting, storage, assembling and transportation of offshore components.
REBO invested €15 mio in existing and new port infrastructures to service offshore wind activities with:
- 15 ha terminal surfaces with heavy lift capacity (up to 20T/m²)
- warehouse space of 50 000 - 80 000 m²
- 90 ha open storage for break bulk activities (inner & outer port)
- berth for installation vessels and jack up facilities
REBO aims at specialized project developers, manufacturer and contractors in the offshore energy sector in an area of 250 km around Oostende. REBO focus on offshore wind farms in the North of France, the Belgian coast, the Dutch waters en the far shore wind farms in the UK.
